This complex is nestled away in the heart of Loiza. The tree lined drive is beautiful. We felt 100% safe while in the complex. Security guards ride their bicycles throughout the complex 24 hours/day. When entering the complex from the city, you MUST show your bracelets that you receive upon arrival. There is a key to get on and off the beach. Some of the city around the complex may be a little rough looking but inside the gates is like a 5 Star Resort. My kids loved the four pools and hot tubs and the lazy river pool! The beach is a small area but there was always enough room for our family and the others there. It never felt crowded. The condo provided everything that we needed. We did stop and get groceries and were even able to fix pancakes with provided utensils and appliances. They even had beach towels, chairs and scooters, which my teenage children loved! My kids played basketball with other guests staying at the complex. I wish we had had a view of the beach from the balcony, but the pool was a nice view, too. The ceiling fan in the dining area needs to be replaced...we ended up just not turning it on. We traveled all over PR while we were there and my kids said that when we return they want to stay in the exact same spot! Also, note that the kayaks and paddleboards as shown in the pictures are not for use with this condo rental.

My husband and I brought our 14 year old granddaughter with her friend and our 6 year old granddaughter and her 7 year old cousin. We loved this unit as one of the pools was right in front of us and the beach was a short walk. The younger girls were more than happy to be in the pool for hours at a time...the older girls did some running, some beaching, and a few day trips with my husband...Area was in poor section, but felt very safe. Unit was very comfortable and loved having towels etc. and washer/dryer. Took a couple of day trips to Old San Juan and Luquillo Beach which was amazing!! Older girls went to rain forest. Store for groceries and other supplies about 20 mins. away. I would highly recommend this condo complex and this unit as we were well taken care of. Kids are already talking about going back next year! Thank you John. Submitted: Apr 25, 2016 Stayed: Apr 2016 Source: HomeAway

My family- 2 moms, 3 kids, and 1 grandmother spent 6 days at this property. My sister originally picked it on-line for the what it had to offer (5 pools and beach) and because the furniture did not look cheesy. Atmosphere is highly important to her and the unit looks fresh with clean lines and a dash of color. There are a lot of competitors in the same complex. I was pleased with how family friendly the actual unit was once we found it. ( A little hard to find at first so don't miss the sign before you enter the gated community. They will provide you directions but much easier to find in day light first time locating.) The unit was well equipped for kids. It had clean beach towels ready to go; floating devices; sand shovel for the beach, scooters, games, cards, etc.... The pools were LOVED by the kids and they would have been fine never leaving the complex. During the week, the place is really quiet but there are more people on the weekends. ( Still not overly busy- always a lounge chair, more kids, and short line, if any, on water slide. ) The water slide is only open on weekends. But during the week it was possible to get a pool to yourself. Personally I was happy for the hot tub. There was also a couple of play grounds (one right outside our balcony so you could watch older kids from the balcony). The internet was also really powerful- the service is better than I have at home. And there was cable for all the night time cartoons. This place is family friendly! We were able to grocery shop and cook in most nights and breakfast ( house had all needed cooking supplies.). It feels like it is in a remote place and there is not a lot around the complex. Actually it is about a 20 minute drive to stuff, including a full service grocery store, outlet mall (did not go in ), etc.. In Loiza, they do have the artist shop to look at and or buy coconut masks but that is about it. Stop for the cultural piece. However you are about 25 minutes from the rain forest, El Yunque, 25 to Luquillo beach (lots of restaurants at Kiosks) , 30 to old San Juan, 40 to Farjardo (ferries to Visques and Calebra). I would definitely have a car but nothing was an unreasonable drive. We had good day trips and then the kids were able to come back and spend hours at the pool. I would recommend this place for families. (There is no hot nightlife). Do bring or buy mosquito repellant. And bring ear plugs if sensitive to noisy air conditioners.
